Bij Exellerion Group en ons zusterbedrijf OSAsense ontwikkelen en leveren we innovatieve e-healthoplossingen en digitale zorgdiensten. Onder de Exellerion Group vallen onze bedrijven Evidencio, Vivica en ClinicalCompanion. Samen met OSAsense ondersteunen we zorgverleners met slimme, gebruiksvriendelijke platforms om de zorg efficiënter en beter in te richten. Voor OSAsense ontwikkelen we daarnaast medische hardware, waaronder een specifieke smartwatch.

Ter versterking van ons ontwikkelteam zoeken wij een (Embedded) Software Engineer

Over ons

Ons kantoor is gevestigd aan Thermen 1 op het Kennispark in Enschede. Samen vormen we een multidisciplinair team van circa 30 gedreven collega’s. We werken allemaal op locatie, houden van korte lijnen en een informele werksfeer met een vleugje humor.

Jouw rol

In deze veelzijdige functie werk je aan de volle breedte van onze technologie. Aan de ene kant bouw en onderhoud je de back-end en front-end van ons webplatform. Aan de andere kant ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van de C-firmware voor de OSAsense smartwatch.

Je schrijft niet alleen code, maar denkt ook actief mee over functionele en technische oplossingen. Omdat we werken met gevoelige medische gegevens, staat de veiligheid van klantinformatie bij al jouw werkzaamheden voorop.

Wat ga je doen?

Web & Platform Development

  • Het ontwikkelen, uitbreiden en onderhouden van ons webplatform. Bedenken en realiseren van zowel back-end als front-end oplossingen die aansluiten op de wensen van de gebruikers.
  • Meedenken over de technische architectuur, de veiligheid van data en het optimaliseren van de code.

Firmware & Hardware 

  • Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van de C-firmware voor de OSAsense smartwatch.
  • Zorgen voor een betrouwbare en veilige meting en gegevensoverdracht van de smartwatch naar onze platforms.
  • Testen en optimaliseren van de firmware-functionaliteiten in nauwe samenwerking met het team.

Wat neem je mee?

  • Voldoende technische kennis van PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Laravel, Vue,js en MySQL.
  • Ervaring met of kennis van C voor het ontwikkelen van firmware.
  • Ervaring met Dev-ops en cloudhosting (bij voorkeur AWS)
  • Je wilt meer dan alleen code schrijven: je bent een multi-talent met passie voor ontwikkelen en denkt graag mee over technische en functionele oplossingen.
  • Je staat open voor en werkt graag met moderne AI-coding assistenten (zoals Claude) om slimmer en efficiënter te bouwen.
  • Je bent assertief en trekt tijdig aan de bel als je knelpunten of problemen ziet ontstaan.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en vindt de veiligheid van klantinformatie en medische data van groot belang.
  • Je bent sterk, zelfstandig én in teamverband, en spreekt en schrijft goed Nederlands en Engels.

At Exellerion Group and our sister company OSAsense, we develop and deliver innovative e-health solutions and digital healthcare services. Exellerion Group includes our companies Evidencio, Vivica, and ClinicalCompanion. Together with OSAsense, we empower healthcare providers with smart, user-friendly platforms to make care more efficient and effective. Additionally, for OSAsense, we develop medical hardware, including a dedicated smartwatch.

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for an (Embedded) Software Engineer.

About Us

Our office is located at Thermen 1 on Kennispark in Enschede. Together, we form a multidisciplinary team of around 30 driven colleagues. We all work on-site, value short lines of communication, and enjoy an informal working atmosphere with a touch of humor.

Your role

In this versatile position, you will work across the full spectrum of our technology. On one hand, you will build and maintain the backend and frontend of our web platform. On the other hand, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the C-firmware for the OSAsense smartwatch.

You won't just write code; you will also actively contribute ideas for functional and technical solutions. Because we work with sensitive medical data, the security of customer information is paramount in everything you do.

What will you do?

Web & Platform Development

  • Develop, expand, and maintain our web platform.
  • Design and implement backend and frontend solutions that meet user needs.
  • Contribute to technical architecture, data security, and code optimization.

Firmware & Hardware

  • Develop and maintain C-firmware for the OSAsense smartwatch.
  • Ensure reliable and secure measurement and data transmission from the smartwatch to our platforms.
  • Test and optimize firmware functionality in close collaboration with the team.

What do you bring?

  • Strong technical knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Laravel, Vue.js, and MySQL.
  • Experience with or knowledge of C for firmware development.
  • Experience with DevOps and cloud hosting (preferably AWS).
  • You want to do more than just write code: you are a multi-talented developer passionate about shaping technical and functional solutions.
  • You are open to working with modern AI coding assistants (such as Claude) to build smarter and more efficiently.
  • You are assertive and raise timely flags whenever you spot bottlenecks or issues.
  • You work accurately and place high importance on the security of customer and medical data.
  • You work well both independently and in a team, with strong spoken and written Dutch and English skills.
